We started something new today and did a training session that involved teaching both Kai and his mom. I had them get a feel for some roundpenning exercises that emphasize the horse squaring up to the trainer and giving them complete attention. They eventually worked into disengaging his hindquarters strictly through body language and leading at liberty. This showcased Kai's desire and motivation to join up with his mom and truly want to be with her with literally and figuratively, no ropes attached! Both of them did great and I was able to capture the special moment end result of their training together today.
