The Mustang Diaries: Kai-Ju Day 107

Over the last few days, I went on a haul to transport some horses down south, so Kai had a brief rest, but yesterday, we completed ride #7. We mainly worked on refining his skills to include one-rein stops, flexing, and maintaining gaits. I saw A Lot of improvement in his trot-to-canter transitions. He was not kicking out as much as the last ride, and he's starting to develop a really nice lope! I was also very pleased with how well he listened to my seat cues. In the video, it's obvious how much he's paying attention to me and slammed on the brakes when I asked him to adjust my seat.
