The Mustang Diaries: Buck

Yesterday was Buck's first ride in a regular bridle with a snaffle bit instead of his usual hackamore. I felt it was time for Buck to gain some experience with a bit and bridle, and he did not disappoint me! He's exceptionally light and supple in his mouth. We worked on one-rein stops and holding his gait steady. It was also his first ride of the year outside of the training corral, so he was a bit anxious but eventually settled into the lesson.
